PhD Safewax

PhD, which stands for Professional, Hygienic and Disposable, is the original, tried and tested, best tube and applicator waxing system.

Students learn how to make the system work for them, through both theory and practical work. Emphasis will be placed on the rotation system, which ensures the effective heating of new wax tubes and the differences between the Tea Tree Crème, Honey and Natural Creme Wax.

The tutor will cover application techniques which will enable participants to work economically. They will also demonstrate on a model, showing the speed removal technique associated with PhD, (students are not required to use speed waxing techniques to gain their certificate).

Participants will perform a wax treatment on a fellow course member during the morning practical session, plus further practice after lunch on fellow students. Models will be provided by the Academy when possible.

Students leave this course sure in the knowledge that they can offer the most professional, hygienic, quick, easy, less painful hair removal service. Please note that this course is only available to students who hold a certificate in basic warm waxing. We do not teach you how to wax - we train you to use the PhD Safewax system.
