No previous experience is necessary.
The course will cover anatomy and physiology of the skin, face, head and shoulder girdle, together with relevant health and safety regulations. Contra-indications including a range of skin disorders and diseases are identified. Skin analysis and client consultation records are covered. A demonstration includes cleansing, toning, skin diagnosis, exfoliation, massage of the face, neck and shoulders, mask application, eye treatments and moisturiser. After lunch students will perform the treatment on each other with support and guidance from the tutor.
