This Priadara hand therapy course includes anatomy and physiology of the hand, wrist and structure of the nail. Relevant health and safety regulations are covered together with contra-indications, aftercare advice and business advice. Knowledge of products and equipment is covered together with filing and cuticle work and how to recognize disorders of the nail, and hands. The manicure procedure is demonstrated including exfoliation and mask treatment together with a hand and arm massage. After lunch students will carry out a manicure on each other with support and guidance from the tutor.
