POST/STATIONERY ASSISTANT 2 DAYS PER WEEK

A part time vacancy exists within our Post Room for a Post/Stationery Assistant.

Duties include:

  • accurately sorting and distributing mail
  • franking outgoing mail
  • assisting with mail shots
  • packing small parcels for posting
  • ordering and maintaining stationery supplies

The hours of work are 16 hours per week, Monday and Tuesday 8.00am – 4.30pm.

DISTRIBUTION LOGISTICS CONTROLLER

Reporting to the Head of Operations & Logistics, you will be charged with providing full logistics and inventory support to the Fulfilment Operation, through managing the internal control of a 10000 SKU inventory profile.  The main areas of responsibility are:

  • Provide a full inventory logistics service to the Distribution Centre
  • Manage movement of stock within the Order Fulfilment Warehouse and other external sites
  • Support the Purchasing Department with maintaining economic stock levels  
  • Ensuring the Stock Module of the warehouse management system is suitably configured to meet the needs of the operation
  • Deliver a full Perpetual Inventory program
  • Provide full support to the Head of Operations & Logistics in managing the operation
  • Maintain a dynamic warehouse layout to meet the changing needs of the Business

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years management in a distribution environment
  • Able to demonstrate a strong inventory background
  • Ideally working towards, or qualified, in a Logistics academic qualification
  • Experience of using a Warehouse Management System
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills are preferred

NATIONAL ACCOUNTS SALES ADVISOR

YOU WILL ALSO BE EXPECTED TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT ADMINISTRATIVE AND TELEPHONE SUPPORT TO THE DEPARTMENT.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Recognising and highlighting opportunities in new and existing markets;
  • Ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Creating and maintaining the customer database using Strategix and Act;
  • Distributing promotional literature and following up with a telephone call to maximise sales potential;
  • Contacting lapsed customers;
  • Carrying out general administration tasks (word-processing, prepare quarterly reports, filing, photocopying, etc) to support the Department.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills :

  • Hair and beauty product knowledge;
  • Converting sales and closing sales opportunities;
  • Proven record of first-rate front line customer service;
  • Working with Strategix (Sales and Credit Control);
  • Basic Excel and Word Processing experience preferred.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday (39 hours per week).

CASH & CARRY BRANCH MANAGER

Following a Company restructure, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Branch Manager within our Coventry Cash & Carry. We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who will be as passionate as we are about creating the best possible shopping experience for our customers.

You will be 100% accountable for delivering against challenging Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), for looking at opportunities to increase sales and profit margins, whilst achieving consistent growth.

You will be expected to provide an innovative and effective approach to management, set the standard for fantastic customer service and to be supportive with the training and development of your team.

You will have the responsibility of the sales and merchandising for the Branch, focusing on our exclusive brands.

Experience in retail at management/supervisory level is essential, together with a very customer service driven background. The successful candidate will ideally possess a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification, or equivalent.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.00 am – 5.30 pm and Friday 8.00 am – 4.00 pm.

To cover our peak season from June to October, you will be required to work as part of an efficient team in a busy warehouse environment. The position includes picking various small to large orders, filling out paperwork and packing to the Company standards. You will also be required to provide the necessary cover within all areas of the Warehouse, i.e., Dispatch and Goods Inwards, to ensure that various areas and tasks are covered to maintain the workflow. Full training will be provided.

ACADEMY ADMINISTRATOR – PART-TIME

We are looking for a reliable person who takes pride in their work and works well as part of a small team, to offer an excellent front line administration service for the Academy Training Department.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Booking students onto courses;
  • Answering internal and external telephone calls;
  • Contacting new and existing customers to help generate sales; and
  • Carrying out general administration tasks

(word-processing, filing, photocopying, etc).

An excellent telephone manner is essential, together with good organisational skills. Basic experience of Excel is preferred and ideally candidates will be competent in word-processing and typewriting.

Individuals will need to be flexible to provide office cover if required.
