To register to order online, all you have to do is go to our shop page and click “register”. Just complete the information as prompted and you will receive an email containing your login information
You must be signed in to proceed to checkout. You can add items to your basket at any time.
If at any time you wish to sign out of the shop, click on the ‘sign out’ link. This will close the access to your account and you will not be able to checkout. Any items in your basket before signing out will be stored for your next visit.
On the sign in page, click "forgot your password". You will be prompted to enter your user name, then asked your security question that you gave when you signed up. You will then be sent an email containing your new password.
To change your password, login with your current username and password. Then click on "my account" on the top right of the page. Here you can alter your password as well as your other personal details.
This gives you access to details relating to your account and the ability to change them.
Summary – Current credit limit, balance and available to spend.
Account Detail – Here you can edit all your personal information.
Favourite products – To save yourself time, you can add items to that you need on a regular basis.
My Orders - Order history and “my quick catalogue” shows details of previously ordered items
Click on the ‘order history’ link to view the most recent orders processed against your account. This details both complete and incomplete orders.
Incomplete orders contain items that have not yet been invoiced. This could be due to stock not being available or items that have not been dispatched.
If you wish to enquire about an incomplete order, please email sales@ellisons.co.uk and specify the order number and the nature of your enquiry.
The totals shown are the original values of the order placed.
To shop by category, click your selection from the list on the left. This will show all the products within the category in the middle of the page.
When clicking on a category, sub categories are shown below to make it easy to find a brand. By clicking on a sub category, you can narrow your selection of products displayed to those within the sub-category.
You can search either by name, code, brand or description. By default, the search box will look under product name first. If you want to narrow your search to any of these options, use the drop down box below.
Type a partial code or description into the relevant box and click on the magnifier to search. The products matching your search criteria will be displayed in the middle of the screen.
You can also choose whether to search the entire shop, or just to search our offers section.
When viewing categories, sub categories and searched lists, you can choose how your results are displayed.
Choose either by:
• Name
• Product code (SKU)
• Brand
• Price
• Best Selling
If you require further information about a product or would like to see a larger image, click on the product description and this will take you to the product detail page.
Enlarge image – just click the image to open a larger viewing window – click the image again to close.
Choose how many you would like, and click “add” to add to your basket
Click the + button to add to your favourites list
Simply click on the “add” button to add the item to your basket. If you wish to add more than 1, change the quantity in the box before clicking add.
To view the contents of your basket, click the basket quantity displayed at the top right of any page.
The items in your basket and order value are displayed.
Change the quantity by typing the quantity required into the box next to the product and click “update basket” underneath your total.
Removing items by clicking on the X next to the product.
If you wish to guarantee same day despatch, select the yes option and the charge will be added to your order. Please note that this option is only available for orders placed between midnight and 1pm, Monday to Friday. Orders placed on Friday will be delivered on Monday. If you require a Saturday delivery please call us on 0845 130 6126.
To proceed to checkout, click “proceed to checkout”.
Choose whether to delivery to your invoice address, or a different address (if selecting this option, please make sure to fill in all sections correctly)
Choose to pay for the order by Credit/Debit card or on account (if you have a 30 day account).
In order to ensure the security of your transaction, you will be taken to the Protx website where you will be asked to enter your card information.
Protx are a recognised leader in the field of card processing and use the latest technology to prevent card fraud.
Following completion of your order, you will be presented with an order confirmation screen detailing your order reference. You will also receive confirmation of receipt via email.
Following order confirmation our systems automatically process the request. Please note that orders cannot be amended after confirmation.
