If you’re not yet familiar with OPI’s nail systems, they run in 3 high-quality liquid formula categories: GelColor, Nail Lacquer and Infinite Shine. GelColor promises long lasting coverage of up to 3 weeks with a minimum of 15 minutes manicure time. Infinite Shine is a hybrid of GelColor and Nail lacquer. It carries the same level of high shine as GelColor, but has the simple removal process of a Nail Lacquer, with up to 11 days of wear. What nail art inspired by Shine Bright can I try?
Ornamented in glitter
- Start by applying 1 thin coat of OPI natural nail base coat.
- Apply 2 coats of Naughty or Ice, allowing each coat to dry.
- Apply 1 coat of Let’s Take An Elfie to the middle of the nail, curving the top and bottom like a French manicure.
- Pro tip: you can use a small detail brush to draw the upper and lower curves first and then fill it in.
- Using a dotting tool or small detail brush, pick out the largest pieces of glitter from All A’twitter In Glitter and place along each edge of the purple.
- Finish with your favourite top coat.
Candy cane bling
- Apply 1 coat of Natural Nail base coat. Let dry.
- Apply 2 coats of Naughty Or Ice, allowing each coat to dry.
- Using a striping brush and Red-y For the Holidays, create diagonal stripes in different thicknesses. Let dry.
- Pro tip: You can use a small detail brush to draw the upper and lower curves first and then fill it in.
- Finish the look with your favourite OPI top coat, placing a Swarovski crystal in the middle.
