2. What can I expect from the online training experience?
Sleekly designed, mobile friendly and easy to navigate – The Academy’s tailormade training platform means that learning has never been so streamlined. To begin, simply add a course to your basket and checkout.
Once you receive your unique link, username and password you are in control. Advance through learning materials that are enriched with engaging video tutorials – clearly putting theory into practice. Pause, resume and review content in your own time, the step by step approach makes it easy to progress at your own pace and if you need further support The Academy team are on hand to help you through emails, phone calls or video chats.
3. How will I be assessed?
We combine both practical and theoretical assessments so that you will be completely confident and competent when performing treatments. Instead of the pressure of attending a traditional assessment centre you can progress at your own pace, revisit study materials and submit work when you’re ready.
You can expect to complete module quizzes and to submit video demonstrations of your practical technique. Rest assured, our friendly tutors will always be on hand to offer you any guidance or feedback that you may need.
4. How can the qualifications help my career and business?
Crucially, your certification will be accredited by The Guild of Beauty Therapists and the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), allowing you to obtain insurance and immediately employ your skills. As a result, you can expand your treatment menu by building upon your existing expertise or by diversifying into new areas such as skincare, massage, tanning and eye area treatments.
