Christmas 2025 opening hours and delivery information

Small parcels
Ensure you place your order online by 8pm on Friday 19 December 2025 for pre-Christmas delivery. Orders placed after 8pm on 19 December and before 8pm on 23 December will be despatched, however pre-Christmas delivery is not guaranteed.
All orders placed after 8pm on 23 December will be despatched on Friday 2 January 2026.
Please note according to the dates listed above, orders will despatch the same day. However next day delivery cannot be guaranteed due to the demands our delivery partner are experiencing during this time.

Click and collect
All click and collect orders are to be collected before 5pm on Tuesday 23 December 2025 for pre-Christmas collection.

Furniture orders
UK mainland - Furdeco furniture orders placed before 12pm on Friday 19 December will be offered a pre-Christmas delivery date. All orders placed after 12pm will be despatched on Friday 2 January 2026.

Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Channel Islands - Furdeco furniture orders placed after 12pm 16 December will be delivered in January 2026.

Scottish offshore - Furdeco furniture orders placed after 12pm 12 December will be delivered in January 2026.

Phone lines will be closed from 5pm on Tuesday 23 December and will re-open Friday 2 January 2026.

Small parcels

    We aim to despatch all orders placed by 8pm however, please allow up to two working days for delivery.

Large and heavy items e.g. furniture

  • Furdeco will be your designated courier service. Pallet deliveries will be charged at £59.00 per order* and will delivered via 2 person delivery on a date of your choice. https://www.ellisons.co.uk/furdeco-large-item-delivery

    Please note: In the event of a failed delivery due to customer fault, an additional delivery fee will be applied at the same rate. Return-to-sender shipments resulting from customer error will also be subject to a return charge at the same rate.

Worldwide

As a result of the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation agreement and the uncertainty around increased tariffs on products exported from the UK to the EU it is with regret that we are temporarily suspending deliveries to EU addresses.

Hopefully the position on tariffs imposed on goods originating from outside the EU will be modified in the near future but until it is, we are unable to export products without you or us incurring significant additional charges.

As of 01 January 2021, there may be additional charges to be paid on products and services imported from the UK to addresses within the EU. All local customs, excise, value added and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer and the seller will not pay these charges and they must be paid directly to the appropriate tax authority for your goods to be released. If you refuse to pay the charges or the delivery is unsuccessful, and the goods are returned to us then you will be liable for the return shipment fees and these will be deducted from any refund due.

White glove delivery

When you order large and heavy items, such as furniture, you will be offered our White glove salon assembled service, where a specialist carrier will:

  1. De-box, unwrap and assemble
  2. Position the goods to your desired location
  3. Clear all bulky packaging for your convenience

Returned goods

Should you need to contact our customer support team regarding a return please email [email protected] with the following information:

  • Account number
  • Order number
  • Full address including postcode
  • A full description of the fault/discrepancy

Please include supporting photographic evidence.

It is taking longer than usual to receive goods back, so please bear with us. Until further notice, we expect to take 5 working days to process returned products from the date of arrival to us.

We aim to despatch all orders for next day delivery during VAT-free promotions, but this cannot be guaranteed. Please allow up to five working days for deliveries placed over VAT-free promotional events due to the larger volume of orders we receive. To ensure you receive your order in time, please check your delivery address is correct at the time of order.
