TPO is a photoinitiator that helps gel polish cure under UV or LED light. The Gel Bottle has already begun reformulating its range to be TPO-free, with many collections — including BIAB™ , HEMA-Free, and newer gel colours — now fully compliant. The updated formulas use TPO-L, a safe, approved alternative that delivers the same reliable results and curing performance.

To apply The Gel Bottle BIAB™, prep the natural nail by cleansing, shaping and buffing. Apply a thin first layer and cure for 99 seconds on low-heat mode using the TGB Light the Way nail lamp . Apply a second layer to build structure and cure again. If extra strength is needed, add a third layer. Refine the surface if required, then finish with your preferred TGB Extreme Shine Top Coat and cure for 60 seconds for a flawless, long-lasting finish.

Start by prepping and shaping the natural nail, then apply a 2-in-1 base coat and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds. Using a neutral base shade such as Vanilla, layer one or two coats and cure each for 60 seconds. Next, apply a thin layer of Blooming Gel and do not cure immediately. While the Blooming Gel is still uncured, apply irregular patches of dark and warm shades like Jet Black, Chocolate and Clueless . Allow the colours to spread naturally in the gel, then cure for 60 seconds. Finally, seal the effect with TGB’s TGB Extreme Shine Top Coat and cure again for 60 seconds — resulting in a rich, marbled tortoiseshell finish.

To remove The Gel Bottle gel polish, gently file the top coat with a 220/240 file, then buff the surface to help the remover penetrate. Soak a lint-free wipe in TGB Soak Away, wrap the nail with Removal Foils, and leave for around 10 minutes. Once softened, gently push off the gel with a cuticle pusher. If residue remains, rewrap and soak for five more minutes. Finish by filing, buffing, and nourishing with TGB Spa Cuticle Essence for healthy, hydrated nails.

To remove The Gel Bottle BIAB™, start by gently filing the top coat with a 120/180 nail file to break the seal. Soak a lint-free wipe in TGB Acetone, wrap the nail in Removal Foils, and leave for 10–15 minutes. Once the BIAB has softened, carefully push it away using a cuticle pusher. Re-soak for a few minutes if needed. Finish by buffing the nail and hydrating with TGB Cuticle Essence. Experienced nail techs can also remove BIAB using a TGB E-File for a faster, controlled process.

To apply The Gel Bottle Foil X, start by prepping and buffing the nails, then apply a 2-in-1 Base Coat and two layers of gel polish, curing each for 60 seconds under the TGB Light The Way nail lamp. Apply a thin, even layer of FoilX Foil Gel where you want the design, cure for 60 seconds, then press on your chosen foil and gently rub to transfer the pattern. Finish with an Extreme Shine Top Coat and cure again for a long-lasting, glossy finish.
